Our Story
Cultivating a healthier community
The SL Family Health and Wellness Center was established in 2023 in Rochester, NY, with a mission to promote health, social, and mental wellness in our community and surrounding areas. Our journey, however, began long before this formal inception.

In 2011, Skate Luvers was launched, a beloved roller skating initiative dedicated to providing a fun and healthy recreational outlet for people of all ages. Over the years, Skate Luvers has become a cornerstone of the community, hosting countless events, entertaining numerous camps, schools, and organizations, and fostering a sense of belonging and wellness among its patrons.

Recognizing the growing needs of our community and the potential to make an even greater impact, we decided to expand our efforts and officially formed SL Family Health and Wellness Center. By integrating a wider range of wellness activities and programs, we aim to address the physical, social, and mental health needs of individuals in our region.

Our commitment to promoting a healthier, happier community remains the same. With our expanded scope and continued dedication to roller skating as a key activity, we look forward to serving and uplifting our community for many years to come.
